@xenon said in Grading For Equity: They just scrapped the accelerated program for K-8 in Seattle because the demographics made it defacto racist. The program was known for its great outcomes. Curious what happens at the aggregate, national level when a country stop supporting its most talented students. The ironic part is that the rich parents will still find a way to support their kids, the poorer families get hosed. Seriously, though? Equity, by definition, can only be accomplished by strangling the successful.

I think Colin Jost, the comedian who did the White House Correspondents dinner, might have exceeded it: "Fox News said he was just being anti-woke".

@George-K said in David Sinclair - "Longevity Guy": Yep. There seems to be no love lost between the two, though it looks like Attia is much more outspoken about Sinclair than vice-versa. But...as I said, I loved Lifespan. Just fascinating stuff. I'm sure that doing it on audio made a lot of stuff get lost, but the gist was there. I did them both on audio, listening to them mostly while working out or biking. Very motivating. Also, it's cool that both authors narrate their own works.

In the end though, I don’t think any trauma centre could have put William Wallace back together again. Being drawn and quartered was pretty much a mortal wound. If anything, what Wallace needed was a one time gas passer, like our good Dr. George
